When to go

In spring and autumn days are usually mild for walking. Early morning mist can cover the valley and clear during the day. It’s cold in winter; in summer check bushfire warnings before heading onto trails.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

Not required for Echo Point and Scenic World, which are reachable on foot, by tourist bus or taxi from the station. For the Jenolan caves, travel by car or an organised tour.
