About Heavenly

Heavenly is one of the largest ski resorts in the region, with runs on both sides of the California–Nevada border. The gondola departs from Heavenly Village in downtown South Lake Tahoe and ascends several kilometers up the slope, offering broad views of the lake.

Midway, an observation platform allows you to see the lake from above, with Emerald Bay in the background on clear days. At the top, in winter, are the ski and snowboard runs, with views of the lake on one side and the Nevada desert on the other.

In summer, the gondola provides access to hiking trails, zipline, alpine coaster and other activities at elevation. The ski season typically runs from December to April, depending on snowfall.
