How many days

One full day for Table Rock, the boat, the tunnels behind the falls, and the power station. A second day allows you to follow the river downstream to the whirlpool and Niagara-on-the-Lake.

When to go

From May to October, with all excursions operating. On summer nights there are fireworks over the falls on scheduled dates. In winter, the Festival of Lights illuminates the city and some attractions close.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

Not necessary in the city: WEGO buses run along the riverbank and downtown. A car helps to follow the Niagara Parkway to Niagara-on-the-Lake and the wineries.
