About Sublime Point Lookout
The Sublime Point lookout sits on the tip of a promontory south of Leura, inside the Blue Mountains National Park. From there the view opens over the Jamison Valley, with Mount Solitary ahead, sandstone escarpments and the eucalyptus-covered valley floor.
Compared with Echo Point, it is a quieter lookout with fewer crowds. The viewing platform is a short walk from the car park, and a short trail leads to more exposed vantage points on the rock.
The site receives side light in late afternoon, when the escarpments take on golden and orange tones. On foggy days the valley can be cloaked and clear gradually.
