About Wangi Falls
Wangi Falls is the most visited waterfall in Litchfield National Park and one of the few open all year round. Two drops fall down the cliff into a wide natural pool, surrounded by monsoon forest.
The pool is a few steps from the car park and picnic area, which makes the site popular with families. Swimming depends on the water level: it is usually allowed in the dry season; after heavy rains, when the water rises, it is prohibited.
A loop trail climbs through the forest to a lookout above the falls and returns on the other side, with steps and boardwalks.
The area has toilets, a kiosk and a campsite.
