Dalaman Airport (DLM) is a common arrival point, with road transfer. Intercity buses serve Fethiye and the urban terminal allows regional connections. Confirm the final link according to where you are staying.
How many days
Four to five nights for an urban base, Ölüdeniz, Kayaköy and one inland excursion; add days if you include Göcek and Dalyan without changing base.
When to go
Outside the summer peak, in May, June, September and October the heat is usually more moderate for trails and boat trips. July and August are hot; the water flow alters canyon conditions over the year.

Do you need a car?
You can use local transport for nearby centres. A car or a booked tour makes Saklıkent, Tlos and wider combinations around the region easier.
