Arrive by road or regional service from the Ortaca and Dalaman area. For Kaunos and İztuzu, check the specific access and the composition of each tour before boarding.
How many days
Two nights allow you to separate Kaunos, the river and the beach, without concentrating all activities into a single day trip from Fethiye.
When to go
May, June, September and October usually bring milder temperatures for the river boat trip and visiting the ruins of Kaunos. Beach protection rules and river conditions should be checked for the travel period.

Do you need a car?
The core of Dalyan is explored on foot. Departures use boat or road depending on the area, and do not necessarily require a rental car.
