About Alaçatı Tarihi Merkezi

Alaçatı is located inland on the Çeşme peninsula and is recognized by its stone houses and the narrow streets of the old core. The walk offers an environment different from Çeşme's waterfront and Ilıca Beach. You do not need to tie the visit to a specific establishment to experience the ensemble.

The old windmills and the scale of the buildings help you observe the history and the landscape of the place. Part of the center is occupied by shops and services, with activity that increases in the summer season. The side streets let you extend the stroll while respecting properties that remain residential.

The urban core and the wind-sport sectors are located in different areas. Arrange transport if you also want to visit the coast, and do not assume the sea is at the end of every street in the center. On hot days, prefer the morning or a walk at late afternoon.
