How many days
Half a day is enough for the waterfront, the harbour and the basilica. A full day allows you to add the boat to San Fruttuoso, which departs from Camogli’s port year‑round.
When to go
From April to June and in September and October the weather is usually pleasant. July and August are hot and busy at the beach. The Sagra del Pesce, a fried fish festival, usually takes place on the second Sunday in May.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
No. The train station is up above the village, a few minutes’ walk from the waterfront. Parking in the village is limited; arriving by train is easier.
