About Parc équestre fédéral de Lamotte-Beuvron
The Federal Equestrian Park belongs to the French Equestrian Federation and was inaugurated in 1994 on the outskirts of Lamotte-Beuvron, on an area of about 400 hectares of Sologne fields and woods. It houses the federation’s technical headquarters and facilities for competitions in several disciplines.
The park includes covered arenas, sand and grass rings, cross-country courses through the forest, stables and areas for riders and the public. The scale of the site allows it to host thousands of horses and ponies at the same time.
The main event is the Generali Open de France, the French championships for ponies and clubs, held every summer, usually in July. For several weeks the park welcomes competitors of all ages, families and exhibitors connected to the equestrian world. Throughout the year other competitions take place, such as horse-ball tournaments, pony-games and driving events.
Outside events, access is limited. To see the park in operation, it is best to plan your visit for a competition date.
