The city
Beaune is Burgundy’s wine capital, a small town surrounded by walls and by the vineyards of the Côte de Beaune. The Hospices de Beaune, the old hospital from 1443 with colorful tile roofs, are the main attraction, alongside the Collégiale Notre-Dame, a few steps away. In the surroundings, the Côte de Beaune brings together wine villages and the Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune.
