What to expect from Aiuruoca.
Aiuruoca is a town in southern Minas in the Serra da Mantiqueira, surrounded by valleys with waterfalls and with a view of Pico do Papagaio, about 2,100 meters high, inside the Parque Estadual da Serra do Papagaio. About 15 km from the center, in the Vale dos Garcias, is the Cachoeira dos Garcias, with a 30-meter drop and a swimming pool. The rural valleys are 15 to 19 km from the town, on dirt roads.
