About Ölüdeniz ve Kumburnu
Ölüdeniz lies south of Fethiye and combines a coastal lagoon with the Belcekız strip facing the sea. Kumburnu marks the spit that shapes this landscape. The sections do not have the same type of access nor the same relationship with the water, so it is worth choosing in advance where to spend the day.
The view from above does not match the viewpoint of someone arriving from the shore. Even without going up the mountain, you can notice the colors and shape of the bay by walking through the permitted areas. Bathing conditions and activity change with the weather and the season.
Check access to the protected sector and what is included in stay services. Combine the visit with a dedicated period for Babadağ if you want to see the landscape from above without relying on a flight. In summer, milder hours help distribute hiking and beach time.
