When to go

From December to April there is less rain, but the sea usually has more waves because of Atlantic winds. May and early June have calmer seas. June to November is hurricane season.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

If you plan to stay at the hotel, no. If you want to go out, yes — or you must rely on taxis and organized tours: there is little commerce and public transport nearby. By car, Bávaro is about 30 minutes away.
