The city

What to expect from Kerikeri.

Kerikeri is the largest town in the Bay of Islands, surrounded by citrus and kiwi orchards, about 25 km from Paihia. In the river basin are the Stone Store and Kemp House, the two oldest buildings in New Zealand, from the Anglican mission founded in 1819. A riverside trail leads from there to Rainbow Falls, 27 meters high. The town’s airport receives flights from Auckland to the region.
