The city
San Juan Teotihuacán is the town in the State of Mexico next to the Teotihuacan archaeological zone, the ancient city of the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site about 50 km from the capital. There are hotels and restaurants around the site, sunrise balloon flights over the pyramids and, a few kilometers away, the 16th-century Augustinian convent of Acolman.
