About Beverly Beach
Beverly Beach is a small beach on Taveuni’s north coast near Matei, slightly past Prince Charles Beach. What sets it apart are the large trees that lean over the sand and provide shade almost to the water, creating a scene very different from the open beaches of Fiji’s western islands.
The water is usually calm and good for swimming, and the reef near the shore has corals and colorful fish for snorkelers. Because it lies outside the accommodation areas, the beach tends to be quiet.
Beverly, Prince Charles and Valaca are a short distance from one another and can be visited along the coastal road. Together they are the beaches most sought after by visitors staying in Matei.
There are no facilities on the beach: bring water, food and snorkeling gear.
