When to go
From March to May and October to November the climate is usually mild. In April and May the storks occupy towers and bell towers. July and August are very hot. Holy Week usually features nighttime processions inside the wall.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
For the old town, no: it is walked and cars have restricted access. The train station is about 3 km away, with a local bus to the center. A car is useful for Trujillo, Los Barruecos and the nearby villages.
