The local experience
Františkovy Lázně’s spa centre brings together light-coloured buildings, source pavilions and parks. The urban design was conceived for lingering and pedestrian routes. The scale is smaller than Karlovy Vary’s, which allows you to take in the ensemble without long transfers.
The Soos reserve is near Františkovy Lázně and features peat bogs, mineral springs, and gas emissions from the ground. A boardwalk trail lets you view this landscape without treating it as a bathing area. It’s a nature outing that complements the architecture of the spa towns.
