The city
Ibiza, the capital of the island of the same name, sits on a hill above the port. Above, Dalt Vila — the walled town with the cathedral — is a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with the Phoenician necropolis of Puig des Molins. Below, the Marina has shops, bars and the quay for boats to Formentera. Beaches, salt flats and coves are just a few kilometres away.
