About Voderup Klint
Voderup Klint is on the south coast of Ærø, a distance from the Ærøskøbing base. The terrain steps down in terraces that resemble wide steps, the result of slope movements. The shape of the relief is the main reason to walk and observe the coast on this part of the island.
The area combines grasslands and paths that allow you to follow the different levels of the terrain. Approaching from above gives an overall view; walking among the platforms brings visitors closer to the vegetation and the shoreline. The route should follow the marked paths for the visit.
Allow time to return to the road or the starting point, as this is not a square next to the town center. Bicycle and car let you combine this stop with other rural sections of Ærø. A full day on the island gives more margin for this excursion than a short ferry-to-ferry visit.
