About Liselund Have
Liselund Have is a landscaped garden created in the late 18th century for Antoine and Lisa de la Calmette. It is in the northeast of Møn, near the coast. Instead of formal beds in straight lines, the complex works with winding paths, water, lawns and trees.
Small buildings appear among the clearings and help compose the views. The old summer house, with a thatched roof, is part of the historic setting. A walk through the park allows you to see how architecture and vegetation were combined to create a sequence of scenes.
Visiting the garden and entering the buildings are different things. Those who intend to see interiors should check the visit options before going. For a nature itinerary on Møn, Liselund offers a shorter, more tranquil pace after the paths and stairways of Møns Klint.
