About GeoCenter Møns Klint
The GeoCenter Møns Klint is located next to the access to the chalk coast, on the eastern part of Møn. Its theme is the transformation of the territory over time: from ancient seas to the processes that shaped the cliffs. The visit adds context to the outdoor walk.
The exhibitions use interactive elements and audiovisual presentations. Fossils and explanations about the origin of the chalk bring the geological scale closer to the landscape seen from the viewpoints. Some activities have their own schedules and conditions, which should be checked when choosing tickets.
The building was placed on the grounds near the forest and the trails. You can visit the exhibitions and then walk along the coast, or do it in the opposite order. For families, it’s worth reserving part of the day for the interior and another part for the outdoor paths, without rushing the stairs to the beach.
