About Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast
Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast opened in 1984 in Oxenford and is one of Australia’s most visited water parks. It operates year-round, with some pools heated in winter, and closes only on a few public holidays.
The slides range from extreme ones, such as the Kamikaze, a boomerang-shaped slide that climbs the wall, the Tornado, a giant funnel, and those in the Zoom Zone with towers over 17 metres, to family raft descents on large tubes. The wave pool and lazy river are good for resting between runs.
For small children there are areas with low slides, water play and shallow pools, like H2Oasis and Buccaneer Bay. Each slide has its own minimum height requirement.
In the colder months some slides and areas close for maintenance, and opening hours are usually shorter. The park is part of the same group as Movie World and Sea World.
