The city
The Gold Coast is Queensland's second city, a stretch of surf beaches from Surfers Paradise to Coolangatta, about 78 km from Brisbane. It hosts Australia’s largest theme and water parks: Dreamworld, WhiteWater World, Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World and Wet'n'Wild. It also features the SkyPoint lookout, the Currumbin wildlife sanctuary, the Burleigh Head walking trail and, in the mountains, the Springbrook forest.
