About Dreamworld

Dreamworld opened in 1981 in Coomera, north of the Gold Coast, and is Australia’s largest theme park, with more than 40 rides and attractions. It combines roller coasters, areas for young children and a zoo with Australian animals and tigers.

For thrill-seekers, the main attraction is Steel Taipan, a roller coaster with three launches, four inversions and speeds over 100 km/h, featuring a rotating seat in the last row. King Claw, a giant spinning pendulum, the Giant Drop, a freefall of about 120 meters, and the Gold Coaster complete the lineup of extreme rides. Each has its own minimum height requirement.

For families there are smaller coasters like the Big Red Boat and Jungle Rush, a carousel, ferris wheel, bumper cars and kids’ areas with characters. Tiger Island showcases the tigers, and the animal area has koalas, kangaroos, dingoes and crocodiles, with keeper talks throughout the day.

Tickets can be combined with WhiteWater World, the neighboring water park, which opens in the warm season. Some rides undergo maintenance at certain times of the year.
