Datça – Muğla Destination Marmaris and Datça

How to get there

Travel by road from Marmaris or confirm the region's seasonal sea links. Buses and regional services require checking the connection and arrival point.

How many days

Two to three nights allow time to see Eski Datça, visit Knidos and set aside a period for the coast.

When to go

May, June, September and October generally favour streets and ruins. July and August are warmer and winds can change which cove you choose.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

A car greatly eases distributing time among coves and the trip to Knidos. For the town centre it can be replaced by walking and local transport.
