How to get there

Buses and the coastal road link Demre to the Kaş and Antalya region. Within the town center, walk or use local transport depending on the distance between lodging, the museum and the Mira site.

How many days

A full day for Mira and St. Nicholas; one night allows you to expand the program without relying on a long coastal return.

When to go

April to June and September to October usually have milder heat at the sites. In summer, schedule ruins visits early; winter can bring rain and alter maritime departures.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

It is not essential for the two main visits if you use local transport. A car or transfer makes arrival and combinations with boat departures easier.
