About Beach Park

Beach Park is on Porto das Dunas beach, in Aquiraz, in the Fortaleza metropolitan area. The water park (the Aqua Park) is the center of a complex that includes seafront resorts and restaurants, and has more than 30 attractions divided among extreme, moderate and family categories, plus dedicated areas for small children.

The extreme attractions are the best known. The Insano is a nearly vertical drop slide 41 meters high: the descent lasts a few seconds and can exceed 100 km/h. Arrepius groups five slides, some with a floor capsule that opens; Kalafrio is ridden on a double tube in an almost vertical curve; Vaikuntudo, 25 meters high, takes up to four people on the same tube through a giant funnel. The Surreal, a 28-meter water coaster listed in the Guinness World Records, alternates drops and climbs propelled by water jets in just over a minute of ride time, always on a double tube. Tobomusik is a slide with music and light effects during the descent.

For those who prefer to go slowly, Correnteza Encantada is the lazy river, ridden on a tube with entrances and exits along the way, and Maremoto is the wave pool, which alternates periods with and without waves. Atlantis, with three drops, is on a tube for up to four people and is suitable for families with older children.

Small children have entire areas. Arca de Noé, only for those up to 1.50 m tall, has ramps, waterfalls and jets in a shallow pool; Aqua Circo is covered by tarps and has a rubberized floor; Aqua Baby is a short slide with a tube for the little ones; Aqua Show has play structures, jets and a giant bucket that dumps all the water at once; Ilha do Tesouro has a pirate theme.

Each attraction has its own height, weight and adult-accompaniment rules, and some are not recommended for pregnant people or those with heart conditions: the signs at each ride entrance state who may go. On busy days, lines for the extreme attractions tend to be long.
