About Rezerwat Kadzielnia

Kadzielnia features a former limestone quarry transformed into a geological observation area within Kielce. The rock walls and outdoor paths allow recognition of layers and shapes that contrast with the city’s built landscape.

The reserve can be visited via the authorized paths, offering different perspectives on the exposed rock. The underground circuit, when available and chosen, is a specific activity and should not be confused with a simple walk among the outdoor viewing points.

Check the conditions of the routes and of the circuit you intend to do. Wear footwear suitable for uneven terrain and do not leave permitted areas to approach the walls. From May to September the walk is usually more comfortable, but rain and cold can affect the experience at any time of year.
