How many days

Two days, one for the Sótano and another for Tamul.

When to go

From November to May, in the dry season. Canoe trips to Tamul are suspended when the river is high.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

It serves as a base, because the Sótano and the boarding point for Tamul are outside the village. There are tours departing from Ciudad Valles.

Return to Aquismón or Ciudad Valles.
