When to go

Autumn and spring usually have stable weather. Winter is dry and cold, with snow on the peaks; summer is green, with afternoon storms.

Do you need a car?

Yes. Cathedral Peak is about 45 km away, Monk's Cowl about 30 km and Spioenkop about 25 km; there is no public transport.
