About Şirince Köyü
Şirince is located on the hills above Selçuk and preserves a group of houses and streets of rural scale. The visit shifts the focus from the large ruins to the layout of a hillside village. The walk is made among façades, passageways and viewpoints over the surrounding landscape.
The core has shops and services, but the experience does not need to be organized around a purchase or a tasting. Grape production and wine culture are part of the local history. Private homes remain outside the internal route, unless they offer clearly indicated access.
The sloping terrain and stone paving call for a slower walk than the distance suggests. Confirm your return to Selçuk if you are using local transport. A morning or an afternoon works well, without combining the village, the entire site of Ephesus and the sanctuary visit in the same timeframe.
