About Bozcaada Tarihi Merkezi
Bozcaada’s core spreads behind the port and castle on the island known in Antiquity as Tenedos. The streets display houses of traditional scales and techniques, with urban life concentrated near the landing. You can start the walk on foot without planning a tour of the whole island.
Vine and wine culture are part of the local history and the landscape beyond the town. That does not make every establishment an individual attraction: the interest lies in the ensemble of streets and their relation to the island territory. Private homes should only be viewed from public spaces.
The season alters the island’s rhythm and the transport options to the beaches. For a first circuit, keep the program within the core and check ferry schedules. Those staying more nights can spread the village and other parts of the coast over separate days, depending on the wind and services available.
