Yes: the town lies north of the access to Phaselis, in the direction of Tekirova. The visit can take part of the day, but you need to arrange the stretch between the main road and the site entrance.

Is the Olympos cable car located at the ruins of Olympos?

The commercial name of the installation refers to the ascent to Tahtalı. The ruins of Olympos are by the sea, near Çıralı, on a different road access.

Is it better to stay in Kemer or in central Antalya?

Kemer brings the coves and mountainous relief of the western coast closer. Antalya better serves those who want to walk in Kaleiçi and use the services of a larger city; choose your base according to planned excursions.

What clothes to bring from Kemer for Tahtalı?

Bring a wind- and cold-protective layer for the mountain summit, even if it’s hot at your lodging. The altitude difference makes it unsuitable to plan the ascent wearing only beach clothes.
