Frequently asked questions

Do Çıralı and Olympos share the same road entrance?

No: the descents split off from the coastal road and reach different sides of the area. Tell your transport whether your accommodation is in Çıralı or in the Olympos valley.

Is it possible to go from Çıralı to the Olympos ruins on foot?

The route follows the beach toward the southern end, up to the authorized access to the archaeological area. Visiting the site requires its own time, in addition to the walk along the coastal strip.

Is Yanartaş in the center of Çıralı?

The flames are on the slope above the village. First you travel to the start of the path, then ascend sections with steps; vehicles do not reach the fire points.

How many nights to book in Çıralı for beach and Yanartaş?

Two nights let you separate Olympos, beach rest and the Yanartaş climb. A single night makes the schedule more dependent on arrival time and willingness to hike.
