The city
What to expect from Santiago.
Santiago is a mountain town about 35 km south of Monterrey, with a historic center of old houses and the church of Santiago Apóstol, the La Boca reservoir and the Cola de Caballo waterfall in Parque Nacional Cumbres de Monterrey. It is a weekend retreat for Monterrey residents and a base for the Matacanes canyon. It is a Pueblo Mágico.
