It is about 90 km from Ciudad Valles, roughly a two-hour drive on mountain roads, with direct buses.

How many days

One or two days, with one night to visit Las Pozas early.

When to go

From November to May, when there is less rain. The forest becomes greener and the waterfalls fuller after the rains.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

Not in the town. Las Pozas is about 3 km away, reachable by taxi or on foot.
