The city
The Valle de Guadalupe is Mexico’s main wine region, in a Mediterranean-climate valley about 30 km from Ensenada. It has dozens of wineries, from family-run to large estates, open-air regional restaurants and accommodations among vineyards and rocky hills. The villages of Francisco Zarco and El Porvenir preserve the history of Russian immigrants who arrived in the early 20th century.
