How many days
One day for the temple, the market and the Sabeto valley. Two days if you want to include Lautoka and a hike in the Koroyanitu highlands.
When to go
From May to October days are usually dry and cooler. From November to April it gets hotter and rains in showers; it’s also cyclone season. The west of Viti Levu is generally drier than Suva.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
No. Taxis are common and Sabeto valley tours typically pick up at hotels. A car helps to travel along the Queens Road to the Coral Coast or Lautoka; in Fiji you drive on the left.
