When to go
From May to October days are usually drier and the crossing calmer. From November to April there is more rain and cyclone risk. In October, the cession celebrations usually stir the town.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
No. The town is explored on foot, and there are taxis and pickup trucks to Lovoni and to the Bureta airstrip.
