About Caversham Wildlife Park
Caversham Wildlife Park is located within Whiteman Park, a large bush reserve about 30 minutes north of Perth city centre, on the edge of Swan Valley. It is the largest private collection of native animals in Western Australia, with over 2,000 animals of around 200 species.
The highlight is close animal encounters: kangaroos roam freely in a dedicated area and can be hand-fed, and there are scheduled meetings with koalas and wombats. The park also houses Tasmanian devils, echidnas, dingoes, native birds, reptiles and a penguin area.
At Molly's Farm, visitors watch a display of Australian rural life with sheep shearing, working dogs and whip cracking, and children can bottle-feed lambs and touch farm animals.
Whiteman Park itself has picnic areas, walking trails, a heritage tram and transport museums.
