About Cachoeiras Lone Creek e Bridal Veil

The Old Lydenburg road leaves Sabie to the west, climbing the hills through planted forests, and leads to two nearby waterfalls. The first is Bridal Veil, the bride's veil, which drops about 70 metres in fine streams of water over the rock, resembling a veil. It is reached by a short trail through the forest.

Further on, at the end of the road, is Lone Creek, about 68 metres high, which falls from a cliff covered in ferns and moss. A paved path leads from the car park to the base of the fall, making it one of the easiest-access waterfalls on the Panorama Route.

Near Lone Creek is also Horseshoe Falls, a low, horseshoe-shaped fall on another access road.

The area is wet and green, and the spray from Lone Creek wets visitors who get close.
