About Cachoeiras Lisbon e Berlin

The Lisbon and Berlin waterfalls are a few kilometers apart, north of Graskop, on an access road that leaves the R532. They were named after the farms where they were located, named by prospectors and settlers in the 19th century after European cities.

Lisbon Falls is about 94 meters high and splits into several drops that descend a rock face into a pool surrounded by forest. From the parking area there are high viewpoints and a trail that descends part of the way.

Berlin Falls is about 80 meters and falls through a narrow channel before opening up, with a shape that resembles a lit sail, into a deep dark pool. The viewpoint is a few steps from the parking area.

The two waterfalls are usually visited together in about an hour, and are often combined with God's Window on the same outing.
