The city

What to expect from Phalaborwa.

Phalaborwa is a mining town in Limpopo adjacent to the Phalaborwa gate of the Kruger, the entry to the central part of the park, near the Letaba and Olifants rivers. Copper and phosphate mining in the region is very old: inside the park, the Masorini site shows an Iron Age blacksmith village.
