What to expect from Sabana de la Mar.

Sabana de la Mar is a small port town on the southern shore of Samaná Bay, opposite Santa Bárbara de Samaná, and the main gateway to Parque Nacional Los Haitises. From here boats leave through the mangroves and among the limestone mogotes of the park, and speedboats cross the bay to Samaná.
