Gödöllő
Gödöllő can be visited on an excursion from Budapest to see the royal palace associated with Elisabeth, Sissi. The baroque residence and its gardens make up the main itinerary. The town centre is nearby, but the station you choose changes the final stretch of the arrival.

Szentendre has cobbled streets and colorful façades around the Fő tér, near the Danube. The town center is explored on foot. Outside it, the Skanzen displays rural buildings and ways of life from several Hungarian regions; visiting the museum requires a separate transfer.
