About Marina de Port Denarau (Port Denarau Marina)
Port Denarau Marina is on Denarau Island, about 5 km from Nadi, and is the main passenger port on the west of Fiji. From here depart the regular catamarans to the Mamanuca Islands, the Yasawa Flyer that serves the Yasawa route, and most day trips to the islands, as well as fishing boats and sailing yachts.
The marina has berths for yachts and an area of shops, tour agencies, a supermarket and restaurants around the pier. It’s the place where almost all western Viti Levu sea trips are bought and boarded, and where boats return in the late afternoon.
The access channel cuts through the reef in front of Denarau, and from the end of the pier you can see, on clear days, the first Mamanuca islands on the horizon. Activity is busiest early in the morning at departures, and in the late afternoon when boats come back.
For those staying on the islands, the marina is usually the first and last stop: airport and Nadi hotel transfers drop off and pick up passengers at the pier.
