About Parque Nacional de Biscayne
Biscayne National Park protects bay waters, islands, mangroves and reefs in the Miami region. Most of the park is experienced from the water via organized boating.
The Dante Fascell Visitor Center provides context and a coastal walk, but it does not replace trips out to the islands. Diving and snorkeling depend on conditions, experience and operator; it is not a beach reached by car across the park.
To organize a visit to Biscayne National Park, choose the boat itinerary before the visit day and keep a land alternative in case wind alters operations. The choice of boat defines which environments will be reached and how much time will be spent off the mainland.
