North Bohemia brings together landscapes that call for different bases. Liberec serves the town hall visit and the Ještěd mountain. The beech forests of Jizera add trails in a sloped environment, for which you should choose a specific access before setting out.

Děčín occupies the Elbe valley and has a castle on the rock. The town works as a base for Bohemian Switzerland and the Pravčická brána arch. Further east, Turnov arranges outings to Bohemian Paradise, with the sandstone towers of Hruboskalsko and the ruins of Trosky.

Hikes should not be treated as roadside stops. Check trails, return transport and daylight duration before choosing each route.

This destination brings together 3 cities: Liberec, Děčín, Turnov.
